When Peter Bauerhuit left his

Now, as the proud owner-operator
of First Class Accounts Woden, Mr
Bauerhuit offers a range of
accounting services across Weston
Creek, Woden and Tuggeranong
including bookkeeping, payroll
services, BAS and GST assistance,
tax services, accounting systems and
set-up, and software.
"I start with a base service of
bookkeeping but I can also provide
business consulting and much more,"
"I save my clients time, do all their
bookkeeping for them, assist them
with all their accounting matters and
give them the ability to focus on what
they do best -- run their business.
"I service small to medium
enterprises that are not big enough to
run a full accounting department but
still need to do everything from
bookkeeping through to payroll, and
I assist them to understanding what's
happening within their business."
The First Class Accounts brand is

Mr Bauerhuit can easily adapt to

"I've got a client at the moment
and we had a breakthrough just
recently. His business was at a point
where he was behind several years in
bookkeeping and now I've helped
him place his business in a position
where he can start looking forward
instead of just looking back in the
past," Mr Bauerhuit said.
"That's the best part about my job
-- meeting the clients and getting to
know their individual businesses, and
also knowing that I'm helping them

As the heart of the nation and with
more than 100 embassies and high
commissions it's only fitting we
celebrate our country's multicultural
nature by hosting a four day
international music, dance, food and
creative arts festival.
Over the years the festival has
grown to be a much loved calendar
fixture for many Canberrans and
residents from our surrounding areas.
During the 2015 National
Multicultural Festival more than
270,000 enjoyed the food, sights and
entertainment that the festival offers.
My friendly tip is to try the Greek

My Croatian background makes me
even more proud that Australia holds
multiculturalism at its core. As a
nation that has been built by migrants
we are a vibrant and inclusive
multicultural society. Our success as a
nation is tied to fostering tolerance,
social harmony, mutual respect and
goodwill across our country.
There is no doubting the huge
contribution Canberra's multicultural
community has made to our city over
the years and it's great to celebrate that
contribution through the festival. I
encourage all Canberrans to visit the
National Multicultural Festival next
month to enjoy the annual festival and
support our multicultural community.
