ANU CLASSICS MUSEUM
The Classics Museum offers regular guided
tours of the collection on the second Friday of
each month. Voluntary guides will give their
monthly hour-long free tour of the museum. No

CANBERRA MARISTS - COMMUNITY
Everyone is welcome to attend the Canberra
Marists' Community Carols and hear from
some of Canberra's brightest talents including
Ned Philpot from reality TV show 'The Crew',

be making an appearance. Feel free to bring a

JOYEUX NOEL 2015
The Canberra City Salvos will host Joyeux Noel,
a Community Christmas Celebration. Come
along and relax on the 'Village Green', listen to
live music and enjoy a summer BBQ. Visit the
Christmas Market for last-minute Christmas
gifts and grab a bargain at the Salvo Store's
Street Boutique. Get your free photo with
Santa and check out loads of other free family
fun activities -- mini golf, jumping castles,
petting zoo, face painting, lawn games and

2pm and 6pm. At 4.30pm there will be a kids'
Christmas concert followed by a carols concert

WALKING IN CANBERRA
A regular walking program can be simple and
enjoyable. In December, Walking for Pleasure
begin walks at 9.30am on Sunday, Tuesday,
Wednesday and Thursday, and 8.30am on
Friday. Walks are between one and two hours
long. You can choose those appropriate for
your level of fitness from the weekly schedule.
Walks are planned for various locations around

OMNIA ADVENTURERS AND SOCIAL
Omnia is a club for over-50s who are seeking
to build new, active lives and make new
friendships. Omnia members run regular
activities, including walks, Friday night drinks,
trivia nights, movie nights and much more. The

CANBERRA LAKES LADIES PROBUS
Our club meets on the third Monday of every
month. Most meetings have an interesting
guest speaker and an activity or outing is
arranged once a month. Visitors and
prospective new members are always welcome
to come along and join us. We are a small club
of around 40-50 ladies who meet to enjoy the
friendships and social activities that are

A-Z YOUTH PROGRAM
A-Z is a social support group for gender- and
sexuality-diverse people between the ages of
12 - 25. It provides a safe, non-judgemental
space for gender- and sexuality-diverse young
people who want to meet and hang out with
other young people who may be in similar
situations to their own. Tuesday evenings,

KNIT AND TALK
This is an informal group for migrant women
who want to learn to knit and to improve their

The Scribblers Writing Group holds weekly
meetings at the Belconnen Community Centre
