FOR WEEK BEGINNING
NOVEMBER 24, 2015
You're a touch confused about some aspect
of your life during Wednesday and Thursday,
paralysing action. It's good to stop and think
about the problems at hand. You will feel
invigorated by the intellectual challenges that
come your way during November 26-27. You can
clearly express your position and win points.
Taurus has doubts about something they are
striving to attain during November 25, 26: a
financial vulnerability exists or there is a weak
link in a chain of communication or line of
thought. Taurus tends to get defensive over
financial matters during November 26-27 and
is ready for a fight if needed. Examine potential
flaws of arguments before making your move.
Gemini natives tend to stumble as they climb
that career ladder during November 25, 26,
so you need to ensure you fully comprehend
any situation you are about to tackle: place
things in context. People around you seem
to be in an aggressive frame of mind during
November 26-27, spurred by ambition. Points
of conflict may arise then.
Information you are receiving may well be
misleading during November 25, 26, even
if it seems to come from an authoritative
source. All people make mistakes so, if in
doubt, double check. Cancerians will exhibit
great skill in work applications during
November 26-27, making it an excellent time
to showcase your talents. You do need to take
care against injury though.
You need to make yourself fully aware
of the fine print in any policies you hold
as they may well be problematic during
November 25, 26: the same goes for any
financial communications. You won't be
interested in sitting around and doing
nothing during November 26-27, for the
excitement and action of life beckon you to
participate. Luck unveils opportunity.
With your eyes set on something personally
important to you, it is possible that
misunderstandings could arise between
yourself and your partner during November 25,
26: don't make assumptions. There seems
to be a bit of tension in the home during
November 26-27, probably because there is too
much going on at once. Try not to snap.
A vulnerability exists in the Libran
constitution during November 25, 26, so try
avoiding excessive use of alcohol, cigarettes
and other toxins; minimise exposure to
contagions. It will be difficult to avoid being
caught up in debates during November 26-27,
as challenges are laid in your path. Your
intellectual prowess is impressive then.
Uncertainty associated with a child or
romance can raise anxiety levels during
November 25, 26. It's important to make sure
of your facts then and keep track of children.
The mechanics of making a buck are whirring
away with brilliant ease during November 26-
27: you are the perfect technician to ensure
that all runs to plan.
It seems that misunderstandings disturb
domestic quietude during November 25, 26.
Sagittarius needs to clarify plans and ideas
with other family members. You are ready,
willing and able to argue the point during
November 26-27, whether right or wrong. You
know what you're doing and where you're
going: all that counts.
Don't believe all you read and hear during
November 25, 26, as there is an element of
fantasy or illusion around it. Situations need
to be put into perspective. Disagreements
mar November 26-27 as problems emerge in
one form or another. However, the application
of logical is enormously helpful in managing
Flawed communications tend to give rise
to misunderstandings over money during
November 25, 26. Take the time to clarify
important details, for losses may occur
otherwise. Aquarians are quite motivated
towards achievement during November 26-27
and are well-armed with plans, contacts, skills
and know-how. Lively debates ensue.
Piscean individuals are prone to flights of
fantasy making it difficult, sometimes, for
others to reach you. Such a situation arises
during November 25, 26: come down to
earth. You certainly know how to make an
impact during November 26-27, employing
the right negotiation skills in career and
business situations. You'll be bringing home

FILM REVIEW: ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING
Pleasant as a tummy rub

"Be careful what you wish for" is the
adage underlying Absolutely Anything.
Neil Clarke, an English teacher at a
London comprehensive school, is
given the power to make absolutely
anything happen by waving his hand.
The Council of Intergalactic
Supreme Beings, a monstrosity of
alien creatures, give Neil this power as
a test to see if planet Earth should be
annihilated or allowed to join the
The decision rests on whether Neil,
an everyman, uses the power for good
or evil purposes. He initially uses the
power for selfish reasons, such as to
make the attractive single woman in
the apartment below him like him.
The unintended miscues of his
wishes, because he isn't specific about
the details, create lots of humourous
moments and situations throughout the
They are predictable but funny.
Social commentary lurks in the
shadows of the storyline.
However, that is not the reason to
see this movie.
Absolutely Anything is for fans of
offbeat Monty Pythonesque humour

an interlude from your normal daily
Robin Williams fans will delight in
hearing him as the voice of Dennis,
Neil's dog. It was his last film work.
Those of you reading this and taking
the moral high ground by thinking the
first thing you would do would be to
eliminate wars, abolish poverty and
eliminate homelessness, will find, as
Neil discovers, the best intentions can
cause unexpected results.
Ultimately, Absolutely Anything is
not going to resolve the worries of the
It's gentle fun to make you smile
and smirk. It's like a tummy rub that
leaves you feeling contented.
Gauging from the audible laughs
throughout the film and smiles on the
audience's faces, including mine, as
they left the cinema, Absolutely
Anything rubbed their tummies nicely.
