Your chosen path in life will be challenged
during September 9-11, leaving you feeling
exposed to powerful influences. This is a time
of reassessment of purpose and rectification
of problems. September 10, 11 is a time when
pleasure is enhanced by the Moon's presence
in Leo. Love, children and recreational
interests are personally important at
A severe conflict of opinion exists
during September 9-11, exacerbated by
stubbornness and an unwillingness to show
any weaknesses. Everyone loses if problems
can't be resolved. During September 10, 11
daily domestic routines are more of a focal
point in your life, as happens regularly about
once a month. There may be a few problems
to sort out.
There's a bit of wheeling and dealing going
on in financial terms during September 9-11,
with the final responsibility resting on you.
Be careful as to what you agree. You need
to sift through paper work, write letters or
make telephone calls in connection with
financial transactions and purchases during
September 10, 11.
It seems that other people hold unfair
influence over your life, but you are in this
position because you allowed it to be so.
Someone is dictating terms and conditions.
Personal effort and initiative should
yield results in a financial sense during
September 10, 11. Many of you will acquire
some small possession that is valued.
Health factors and dietary issues are likely
to be involved in developments during
September 9-11. It may simply be that you
need to implement strict regimens to get fit
and healthy. Emotional vulnerability does
not sit easily with Leo individuals during
September 10, 11. You'll need to keep a lower
profile to sort out some of your concerns.
A compulsive quality hangs over your life
during September 9-11 and is not healthy
for you. An exposition to loss in financial
and personal terms is a distinct possibility.
September 10, 11 bring social contact with
strings attached. Look carefully at your
associations and consider their worth: work
with those that are meritorious.
Sometimes you'll feel that the factors
transforming your home are beyond
your control. Such is the case during
September 9-11, which is characterised
by interference. There are significant
associations with which you will be involved
during September 10, 11. Such interactions
should benefit all involved parties, as well as
being personally inspirational.
During September 9-11 you'll be wearing
blinkers and unable to see anyone else's point
of view. You need to at least listen to what
is being said, even if you don't agree with it.
Communications should flow easily during
September 10, 11, opening doors for personal
improvement and advancement. Some of
these contacts will be long distance.
The financial landscape seems to be
mutating before your very eyes and
you may feel incapable of controlling it
during September 9-11. These problems
are not insurmountable. Whilst in a more
introspective mood during September 10,

influences. There is much to learn from
The power you take unto yourself during
September 9-11 should not be usurped from
other sources, but born of evolving needs.
Keep sight of your goals but do things
properly. Joint financial matters should
be of interest to Capricorn natives during
September 10, 11, and there is nothing

You'll be walking in the shadows of life during
September 9-11, courtesy of a ticket of bad
news. Lift your chin and aim high because
you have the ability to turn negative into
positive. There could be a few problems with
work mates, employees or tenants during
September 10, 11. Try to remain objective,
as emotionalism does nothing to help
It is easy to become totally obsessed by your
personal dreams and you need to resist this
temptation during September 9-11. Consider
others: their opinions may be worthwhile.
There is much pleasure to be derived from
your tasks during September 10, 11. Perhaps
you are able to exercise a little creativity as
you work through your routines.

FILM REVIEW: ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL
A quirky teenage comedy
RJ Cyler as Earl, Nick Offerman as Greg's dad, and Thomas Mann as
Greg in Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.
The big screen
Have you heard the joke about the girl
dying of leukaemia? She dies. I bet
you didn't laugh at that because death
is not intrinsically funny.
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl,
while not taking an irreverent tone
about death, deals with the subject of
a dying teenager in a laconic way.
Greg, the me of the title, is a socially
awkward teenager trying to survive
high school by avoiding becoming a
member of any social group. He and
his best mate, Earl, spend as much
time as possible in a teacher's staff
room rather than negotiating the
cafeteria with its social enclaves.
Earl and Gary also make movie
parodies, like A Sockwork Orange.
Their friendship is a whole different
kettle of writhing eels. Unfortunately,
Greg is thrust into an awkward
situation when his mother announces
that a classmate, Rachel, has been
diagnosed with leukaemia. His mother
thinks Greg should visit Rachel.
The problem is that he and Rachel
aren't close friends. They attend the
same school. That's about it.
He can't manoeuvre in his world let
alone comfort Rachel. The situation is
awkward. They know he only visits
because she has cancer. Otherwise, he
wouldn't talk to her.
Rachel's pillows are significant in
breaking barriers. Yes, pillows. That's
part of the film's refreshing and pacey
style. It doesn't allow the film to
become moribund. It ensures an
entrancing film and a commonsense
approach to the issues. It shares film
DNA with Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
and Robert Crumb's American
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl

being speechless. Along the way you
learn what uncompromising friendship
truly means. Without underplaying it,
friendships and dying become
impediments to surviving adolescence.
