FOR WEEK BEGINNING
JULY 14, 2015
Wednesday through Friday can be tense
days at home when minor problems seem
to abound. This may involve a fall out with
a neighbour or disagreement with a close
relative. The problems that arise during
July 16, 17 will require reflection as you intend
to gain mastery over a situation involving
career or an authority figure. Taking a bully's
position does not help.
During Wednesday through Friday Taureans
are likely to be feeling more tense than usual.
Don't jump into a car with unresolved tensions
as it can bring more headaches than you would
like. The paperwork that comes with problems
during July 16, 17 will have you obsessing over
the smallest details. Clarity and control of a
situation is absolutely imperative.
Determination powers your actions. Geminis
tend to be a touch agitated during Wednesday
through Friday over an issue of values. Many
will be pushing hard to get their own way,
perhaps stretching the bonds of friendship.
Geminis are best using the trends of July 16,
17 to gain insights into problems, particularly
of ethical or financial situations. You are well
positioned to do so.
Cancerians will be determined to make an
impact on the world around them during
Wednesday through Friday. They have the
ideas and should capture the attention they
need. Someone is being a little heavy-
handed during July 16, 17 and this affects you
personally. You may be badgered into listening
to something you really don't want to hear.
Wednesday through Friday can be rather
frustrating days if Leo is trying to gain
recognition for their ideas and efforts. It is
better to plan that for another time and spend
your time doing more research or helping
someone else. There's a clearing out process
involving work or a domestic situation during
July 16, 17. Don't be too zealous in your actions
as you may throw the baby out with the water!
Virgo is full of great ideas during Wednesday
through Friday, especially where there is profit
involved. There is much that can be done
towards achieving your goals, whether action
or planning is involved. It is easy to become
obsessed with something happening in your
romantic life or in a situation affecting a child.
Not everything is black and white: reason
needs to be exercised.
A move may be on the agenda. Libra will be
out to make their mark on the world during
Wednesday through Friday, probably in
co-operation with another. There is great
potential if you have done your homework
properly. Important changes are being
made around your home or are happening
in connection with a family member during
July 16, 17: there's paperwork connected
There is merit in what others say during
Wednesday through Friday, so Scorpio should
take heed. It may very well work to your
detriment if you choose not to listen. An
overhaul of routines, travel arrangements,
communications and vehicles is indicated
during July 16, 17, probably not as a result of
choice. Money is being spent on these matters.
Avoid speculation then. Sagittarius has a way
with money during Wednesday through Friday,
making it work to their advantage. Speculation
is a bit risky 'though. The intricacies of
financial movement are being examined during
July 16, 17, in the wake of massive financial
changes affecting your life. It pays you to be in
control of these changes.
Someone seems to be quite argumentative
around Capricorn during Wednesday through
Friday. A matter of ownership or responsibility
may well be involved. Your strength of
character is being tested during July 16, 17
as you reach for the attainment of goals.
Challenges may come from another party or
simply from the mechanism of the quest.
Aquarius needs to take extra care to avoid
stress, rushed situations or self-indulgence. All
of these may upset your physical disposition
during Wednesday through Friday. It's all about
responsibilities and the way in which they are
handled during July 16, 17. You may not agree
with another viewpoint even though it is a
viable way of managing the matter.
Wednesday through Friday is likely to see
Pisces fired up over romance or an issue to
do with the kids. It would be very easy to
allow passion to dominate everything else.
When it comes to achieving your objectives
there is a rod of steel within strengthening
your resolve during July 16, 17. Language and
communications are forceful, reflecting this

FILM REVIEW: TERMINATOR: GENISYS
Pretzel logic, but fan fun
Emilia Clarke plays Sarah Connor, Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the
Terminator, and Jai Courtney plays Kyle Reese in Terminator Genisys.
The big screen
The obvious comment is, "He's back".
We mean Big Arnie
Schwarzenegger. He reprises his
original role as the T-800 Terminator
sent from the future to kill Sarah
Connor. She is the mother of resistance
fighter John Connor. In the future, he
is central in fighting Skynet, whose
intention is to eliminate humankind.
In this case, Arnie is an aged
terminator, Pops, that is, "old, but not
obsolete" and now protects Sarah.
Schwarzenegger doesn't take
himself seriously. He delivers wooden
acting, monosyllabic wisecracks and a
creepy smile. That's how we like it.
The ultimate salute to the original
Terminator is the digital reincarnation
of Arnie circa 1984 as he fights his
older self in this movie.
The world of the Terminators also
involves time travel, parallel universes
and people meeting their younger
If you are entwined with the
Terminator movies you know all this.
If you're not familiar with the story,
Terminator: Genisys takes 15 minutes
to fill in the background. Then the
fundamental struggle of humans
against machines for dominance of the
planet explodes on the screen. As

A few new twists enter the
rudimentary story and a new
Terminator keeps it interesting for
Arnie fans. The rest of you won't care.
The key to watching Genisys is not
to overthink it. Time travel, and all its
issues, involves pretzel logic.
Arnie will be back in another
Terminator film. Sit through the first
few minutes of the credits to get a hint
about the next film.
As you browse the internet, Skype

think about whether you really know
how and who is controlling all of your

Skynet is closer than we think.

Eleven-year-old Ethan Hart has
organised a free all-ages dance festival
to feature dance battles, a DJ and guest
speakers in Woden next week.
The festival, which takes place at
the Woden Youth Centre on Friday,
July 24, from 6pm to 10pm, is the
latest venture for the pre-teen
entrepreneur. When he was nine he
started his own fashion label, Yo
Now he has embarked on events
management. Ethan said he has always
wanted to host his own dance party.
"I love watching dance concerts [on
YouTube], I love dance battles with
my little brother," he said. "I started
watching Michael Jackson doing the
moonwalk and I learnt that when I was
five," he said. Dad, Paul, and mum,
Ange, said Ethan loved dance videos
and street dancing. Mrs Hart said
Ethan was highly energetic, very
positive and very outgoing. "We've
just been supportive and encouraging,"
Mrs Hart said.
I think we're in for a whirlwind
ride," she said.
Ethan's Yo Funky branded beanies,
hoodies and tee shirts will be available
for purchase on the night. The festival
is a drug- and alcohol-free event.
