MARYMEAD GLITZ AND GLAMOUR
Marymead is holding its annual 'Glitz and
Glamour' fundraising ball. Enjoy a delicious

Author Hazel Edwards, recipient of an OAM for
Literature and national literary ambassador,
will talk about her new memoir Not just a piece
of cake -- Being an Author. Hazel tackles myths
that writing for children is easier or of less
significance, and will be chatting with

WEEKLY BRIDGE CLUB
We are a non-profit organisation who play

The Men's Shed is a social Shed where men

Brindabella Orchestra will be performing their
first concert for 2015, incorporating pieces as
The Hebrides Overture by Mendelssohn,
Kaiserwalzer by Strauss, Jesus Christ
Superstar by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and other
well-known works in the program. Sunday, May

LOGOS BIBLE SOFTWARE SEMINAR

LATVIAN DANCE WORKSHOP
All welcome to come and enjoy an afternoon
learning Latvian dances with Valdis Strazds
and members of the Sprigulitis Latvian Folk
Dance Group. They are a local group who have
performed around Australia and overseas, and
have celebrated their 60th anniversary. This
event will take place on Saturday, May 16 from

CANBERRA SOUTH BRANCH
The Canberra South Branch of NSA will hold its
next monthly meeting at 10.30am on
Wednesday May 27 at the Weston Creek Labor

speaker will be a representative from Sleep
Apnoea ACT who will talk about sleep apnoea.

WALKING IN CANBERRA
Joining a regular walking program is a simple
and enjoyable way of life. During autumn,
Walking For Pleasure begins walks at 9.30am
on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday. Walks are between one and two hours
long. You can choose walks appropriate for
your level of fitness from the weekly schedule.

The Australian National Eisteddfod is holding
its annual Trivia Night to raise money for this
year's national eisteddfod. Grab nine friends

The Renal Morning Tea is an opportunity for

A support group for people with chronic lung
disease and their carers, meeting on the
second Thursday of every month. The next
