CHARITY GARAGE SALE
Come along and browse through a huge range
of baby, kids', adult and household items at
the next Charity Garage Sale. There are heaps
of bargains with many items for $2 or less. All
proceeds go toward projects that support
children's charities in poor communities.

AUTISM ASPERGER ACT GAMES
Do you have children on the autism spectrum
and would like to meet other families with
children on the spectrum? Or would you just
like to socialise with other adults in the autism
community? Autism is often an isolating
experience, and the games group endeavours
to bring together children and families to help
with social skills and building friendships.
Autism Asperger ACT has a great range of
games for the whole family to enjoy. Meetings
on the fourth Sunday of every month. noon-

WESTON CREEK MEN'S SHED
The Men's Shed is a social shed where men
can meet for a cuppa and a chat. Activities
include guest speakers, visits to local
attractions, barbecues and occasional
lunches at a local club. Thursdays from

WALKING IN CANBERRA
Joining a regular walking program is a simple
and enjoyable way of life. During autumn,
Walking for Pleasure begins walks at 9.30am
on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday. Walks are between one and two hours
long. You can choose walks appropriate for
your level of fitness from the weekly schedule.

CANBERRA LUNG LIFE MEETING
A support group for people with chronic lung
disease and their carers. Meetings on the

TUGGERANONG DAY VIEW CLUB
Tuggeranong Day View has a meeting and
lunch on the third Tuesday of each month and
all ladies and guests are welcome to join this
lovely social event. The upcoming luncheon will
be held on St. Patrick's Day and is the closest
meeting to Easter, so get into the spirit and
wear green and an Easter bonnet for the
Easter parade. Cost $26 for a delicious two

BUSH CAPITAL BATS TALK
Canberra's bat expert Doug Mills will give an
introduction and overview of bats in the ACT,
their food, habitats, movements and lifecycle.
He will also discuss survey methods and
monitoring. There will be opportunity to ask
questions and to learn about the Australasian
Bat Society and ACT Bat Watch. Thursday,

All the shops in Campbell will be open to offer
coffee, cake, sushi, wine and more. People are

CANBERRA BLUES SOCIETY
MONTHLY BLUES JAM
The Guitars Cases, one of the hardest working
bands in Canberra, will be hosting this month's
Blues Jam. The band will be followed by some

ACT GIRLS' BRIGADE CADET DAY

The compassionate Friends ACT &
Queanbeyan offers support, friendship and
