WINE, WRITING, WORLD DANCE
Canberra writers are joining Folk Dance Canberra
for an evening of dance and story. The night will be
a sparkling combination of dancing, listing to some
of Canberra's best writing, and chatting with
dancers and writers over wine and cheese. One of
the world's best horror writers, Canberra's Kaaron
Warren will read in the evening. There will also be
a small bookstall. Saturday, March 14, 7pm. Folk

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
A group for mostly over 45s. Activities include
dinner and dances, barbecues, cards, trips away

CHINESE NEW YEAR LANTERN
The Australia China Friendship Society is hosting
the Lantern Festival, the final event of Chinese new
year. There will be performances of Chinese
traditional music, children's dances, martial arts,
lion dance, and a lantern parade. Bring your own
lanterns or buy one there. Prizes for best hand-
